COMMUNITY TABLE

A couple weeks ago Del, Dave and Preston took a scouting trip up to Templeton, CA to a walnut orchard. The property was bought to turn into a vineyard so the walnut trees have to go. In December we will be harvesting as many trees as possible to bring back to the brewery. The slabs will be used to make the bar top and a few tables out of.

UPDATE:

The Walnut tree project is well underway. We finally took down the trees in Paseo Robles in late November after multiple scheduling issues. I really want to thank everyone involved in that day, it was an ass kicker. The wood has been brought to a Rambo Saw Mill in Ojai and Josh, the owner of the mill, and myself, have worked on slabbing out the wood. I will be returning next week to load it into the kiln for it to dry.
