Taproom Manager
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant/Hospitality, Business Management or related field preferred
4+ years of supervisory experience in a bar/restaurant/brewery tasting room
Must be 21+ years of age
Excellent verbal and written skills
Ability to delegate tasks effectively
Must interact professionally and effectively with employees and customers
Ability to work autonomously, multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to supervise, train and motivate Tasting Room staff
Working knowledge of Arryved, Excel, Quickbooks or similar software programs
Knowledge of brewery operations and the craft beer industry
Willing to take on additional responsibility where needed
Expected to be on-site, working nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Cicerone Certification within 6 months of hire
LEAD Certification within 1 month of hire
position & Duties
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Tap Room and kitchen to drive revenue and ensure the highest quality of service.
Always ensure a smooth front-of-house operation, and step in to lead and assist staff as necessary during busy or peak time
Collect, evaluate and respond to guest feedback as needed
Create a warm and welcoming environment for guests and employees.
Oversee quality and presentation of beer and food products, service standards, guest satisfaction, condition, and cleanliness of the Tap Room and its facilities.
Develop and maintain a high-quality workforce by interviewing, hiring and training employees
Taking disciplinary action when necessary
Maintain forecasts and budgets to ensure the profitability of department operations.
Coordinate taproom special events
Monitor and adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards
Work closely with Marketing and Social media teams to drive business and social media interaction.
Schedule taproom and kitchen staff
Run taproom reports and collect data on priority goals
Most importantly maintain a positive attitude
Ability to adapt and overcome all situations
Participate in sales and work with marketing team to achieve brewery goals
Position starts at $45k/year
